Well pump repair
A well pump problem usually shows up as no water, weak or uneven pressure, a pump that runs without stopping, or a breaker that keeps tripping.
Well pump replacement
Replacing a submersible well pump means pulling the pipe, wire and pump out of the well, swapping the pump, and lowering everything back down.
No water from your well
When every tap goes dry, start with the simple things: the breaker for the well, whether the power is out, and what the pressure gauge near the tank reads.
Pressure tank repair
A pressure tank stores water under pressure so the pump does not start every time a tap opens.
Well pressure switch repair
The pressure switch is the small box on the pipe near your tank that tells the pump when to start and stop.
Submersible well pump repair
A submersible pump sits down in the well, below the water, and pushes water up the pipe.
Constant pressure system
A constant pressure system uses a controller to speed the pump up or slow it down so pressure stays steady while water runs.
Well service and maintenance
Well service covers the checkups and small fixes that keep a system running: checking the tank air charge, the switch, the wiring and the water output, and looking at the well cap and seal.
Low water pressure from a well
Low pressure on a well can come from a clogged filter, a pressure switch set low, a waterlogged tank, a failing pump, a leak in the line, or a well that is not keeping up with demand.
Well pump control box repair
Some submersible pumps use a control box mounted above ground, often near the pressure tank or in the garage.
Booster pump and storage tank repair
Some properties fill a large storage tank from the well, then use a booster pump to send water to the house at steady pressure.
Well inspection for a home sale
Buying or selling a home with a well usually means someone wants to know the well works and what shape it is in.

What to have ready when you call
- Your address and the nearest cross street, so the company can tell you if you are in their area.
- What is happening. No water at all, low pressure, a pump that will not shut off, a breaker that keeps tripping.
- Anything you know about the well. Depth, age of the pump, or the well registration number that starts with 55- (see below for how to look it up).
- What you already checked. For example, whether the breaker for the well is on and what the pressure gauge near the tank reads.
Do not know the details? Call anyway. The company will ask the right questions.
